Dinner?

Tonight my squad is having a very casual dinner party at a local restaurant. After dinner we are all going to go see the premiere of a new movie. I got really excited when I heard the news, but of course when I got home I started to freak out because I had no clue what to wear. I called up a few friends and they all said they were just going to wear jeans. After getting some advice from a few of them, I came up with this outfit.

The Challenge

After reading on of the posts from MakeShiftChic, and being involved in the recession we are in, I was inspired to challenge myself the same way she is but with a twist. For the rest of this summer, and maybe even the fall, I am challenging myself to make at least one outfit a week. My twist on the challenge is that I am inviting other fellow bloggers to join in on it too.

The guidelines for the challenge are listed below.

• The due date for each outfit is on that Friday.


• The entire outfit must be put on a post and should include a description of it and the experience you had making it.


• The outfit must be complete (dress, skirt and shirt, pants and skirt.....etc)


• The pieces be either made from scratch or reconstructed from something else.


• Accessories are optional but are GREAT!

If you would like to participate in this challenge, just comment on this post. After each deadline, I will try to post a few of the things the participants have come up with.
